A pesar de los dúos con LeAnn Rimes y Big & Rich, a pesar de que en ocasiones suene un violín o una steel guitar, Lost Highway, el disco country de Bon Jovi, no podría recordar más a un disco actual de Bon Jovi, pues sigue conteniendo himnos triunfales y grandes dosis de sentimientos en la misma proporción. Cuando ya nos hemos olvidado de los violines semiocultos de "Lost Highway" y pasa suficiente tiempo como para que le disculpemos a Toby Keith su mala imitación de "Summertime", resulta prácticamente imposible distinguir este disco de cualquiera de los que vinieron después de Keep the Faith (1992). Esto no es necesariamente malo, ni mucho menos, ya que Bon Jovi sabe encontrar el delicado punto de contacto entre lo mundano y lo melódico, y hay fragmentos de Lost Highway en que lo llega a conseguir.

A pesar de los dúos con LeAnn Rimes y Big & Rich, a pesar de que en ocasiones suene un violín o una steel guitar, Lost Highway, el disco country de Bon Jovi, no podría recordar más a un disco actual de Bon Jovi, pues sigue conteniendo himnos triunfales y grandes dosis de sentimientos en la misma proporción. Cuando ya nos hemos olvidado de los violines semiocultos de "Lost Highway" y pasa suficiente tiempo como para que le disculpemos a Toby Keith su mala imitación de "Summertime", resulta prácticamente imposible distinguir este disco de cualquiera de los que vinieron después de Keep the Faith (1992). Esto no es necesariamente malo, ni mucho menos, ya que Bon Jovi sabe encontrar el delicado punto de contacto entre lo mundano y lo melódico, y hay fragmentos de Lost Highway en que lo llega a conseguir.
