I Muvrini
I Muvrini was a French (Corsica) regional vocal formation formed in the late 70s around Alain and Jean-François Bernardini. They were one of the most exposed bands of their kind throughout their long career, and even came to work with many French and foreign artists such as Sting, Luz Casal, Mc Solaar or Véronique Samson (among many others). From 1979 to 2007, the band released around thirty albums, both studio and live ones, their 2007's I Muvrini et les 500 choristes being their seventh Gold Record since 1994. Their style evolved from the most traditional forms of Corse's "polyphonies" to poppier tones, though they never let down their native language at any time.
