Prentiss
A versatile melodic rap, pop, and trap artist, Prentiss Furr emerged at the age of 14 in 2020 with a laid-back style that pairs youthful lyricism with earworm hooks. He released his debut EP the following year.
The Jackson, Mississippi native was initially drawn to video editing and illustration before discovering his talent for music production. He started issuing his songs online in 2020, beginning with the breezy "Rock with It." He went viral soon after with the releases of "Chocolate" and "October," which elicited praise from the likes of Justin Bieber, Skrillex, Meghan Trainor, and blink-182's Mark Hoppus. In 2021, after inking a deal with Cinematic Music Group, Prentiss unveiled another string of streaming hits that included "I'll Do It Again," "Thrill of It," and "Hazel Eyes."
