Our Broken Garden
Idioma disponible: inglésThe project of Efterklang's touring keyboardist Anna Broensted, Our Broken Garden also feature guitarist/keyboardist Søren Bigum and bassist Moogie Johnson. While the group’s music shares some of Efterklang's dreamy ambiance, Our Broken Garden focus on their overall sound and Broensted's alluringly aloof vocals. Broensted began posting her music on her MySpace page and it caught the ears of the Cocteau Twins' Robin Guthrie, who signed Our Broken Garden to his Bella Union label. The Lost Sailor EP arrived in April 2008, introducing the band’s fascination with maritime imagery as well as its ephemeral sound. Their first full-length, When Your Blackening Shows -- which was recorded in an abandoned school -- followed that September. Its follow-up, 2010’s Golden Sea, featured Broensted as a co-producer and a wider-ranging sound inspired by classical music and Lars Von Trier's Antichrist.
