Though he has been singing since he was old enough to talk, his professional career began at the age of 18 on the Divertido con Jochy television program. As a result of his performance, he was signed to a deal with the Universal Latino-distributed Machete Music. His debut single, a cover of Bruno Mars' "Just the Way You Are," hit the various charts in 2012, as did "Infiel" (2013), followed by three more charting singles and videos in subsequent years: "Infiel" (2013), "Niña de Mi Corazón" (2014), and "Mi Lugar Es Contigo." His debut album, Geminis, arrived in 2015.
