Harrison Brome
Idioma disponible: inglésHarrison Brome is a vocalist, songwriter, and producer whose material consists of predominantly low-key, slightly left-of-center variations on contemporary R&B, pop, and dance music. Along with a handful of singles, the Vancouver native has released the EPs Fill Your Brains (2016), Body High (2018), and No More Love Songs (2019), all through Nettwerk. The musician was exposed at an early age to classic soul through his mother. As a youngster, he overcame dyslexia by using a karaoke machine that she bought for him. Brome wrote his first song at the age of 14 and within a few years was pursuing music full-time. He made his commercial debut in 2015 with "Fill Your Brains," a dusty and sparse ballad that appeared on the compilation Kitsuné Maison 17: World Wild Issue. Shortly after his 20th birthday in July 2016, "Fill Your Brains" became the title track of his debut EP, released through a licensing deal with Nettwerk, the long-running label based in his hometown. The EP also featured "Midnight Island," which entered Billboard's Canada Rock chart at the end of the year. Brome offered his second EP, Body High, in 2018, and over the next year gradually issued three-fourths of the tracks that made up his third EP, 2019's No More Love Songs.
