Dreamer Boy

Dreamer Boy represents the eccentric bedroom pop stylings of Zach Taylor, a singer, songwriter, and producer from the Pacific Northwest by way of Nashville. The woozy mix of tender dream pop, rap, and R&B on his 2018 debut earned him a national audience and set high expectations for his 2021 follow-up, All the Ways We Are Together. Taylor grew up in Spokane, Washington, listening to a variety of music before discovering home-recording software during high school. While attending college in Nashville, he began recording under the name Dreamer Boy, piecing together lush and soulful pop tracks that utilized everything from vintage drum machines to pedal steel guitar. Co-produced with collaborator Bobby Knepper, Dreamer Boy's debut album, Love, Nostalgia, appeared in 2018 and soon led to tours with the Marias, Omar Apollo, and Still Woozy. A scattering of singles like the streaming hits "Puppy Dog" and "Know You" arrived over the next two years in advance of 2021's All the Ways We Are Together, which was also produced with Knepper.
