Annalisa
Idioma disponible: inglésItalian singer/songwriter Annalisa Scarrone (also known as Annalisa and Nali) grew up in Carcare, working as a bartender and moonlighting as a musician since her very early teens. Scarrone worked with two bands in her youth, Malvasia and Elaphe Guttata, before striking out on her own in a series of talent shows, ranking high enough in some to gain some recognition. Her 2011 solo debut, Nali, was a huge success, spawning several singles, platinum sales, and reaching the number two position on the Italian charts. She followed it in 2012 with Mentre Tutto Cambia, which featured the hit single "Senza Riserva." In January of the following year, her song "Pirati" was included in the bonus features of the animated film Ice Age 4: Continental Drift. Her third album, Non So Ballare, was released shortly afterward, peaking at number six on the Italian charts and adding jazz elements into Annalisa's pop sound. Her song "Tutto Sommato" appeared on the soundtrack of the hit Dutch film Tuscan Wedding and she was the featured singer on the film's song "Capirai." Splende, her fourth release, arrived in early 2015 followed a year later by the electro-pop-oriented Se Avessi un Cuore. Both albums continued Annalisa's successful streak on the Italian charts, reaching number seven and number four, respectively.
