The Definitive Collection constituye una panorámica instantánea del espectacular legado de Stevie Wonder. Arranca en 1963, cuando Wonder era un adolescente prodigio de la música, con la exuberante "Fingertips, Pt. 2", y por el camino va desgranando clásicos en los que este señor originario de Michigan pasa de ser un hombre orquesta que triunfaba con el motown a un artista joven cuya visión soslayaba las sensibilidades de los sencillos en favor de expresiones artísticas que encajaban mejor con discos completos.
