El dance-pop de Spice podrá ser inocuo y poco original pero es incontestablemente pegadizo. Las Spice Girls no serán grandes cantantes pero derrochan personalidad. Bien utilizados, estos elementos vuelven irresistibles a temas como el hit global "Wannabe", con su ridículo "zig-a-zig-ahh". Lo mismo puede decirse de los otros sencillos, el sensual "Say You'll Be There" y la balada "2 Become 1". El resto del disco no está a la misma altura pero resulta todo muy entretenido, gracias a la habilidad de los productores y al carisma de las cinco Spice Girls. No se le puede pedir mucho más a un disco de pop bailable.
