Se trata de un gran acontecimiento para los fans de Slowhand, ya que, paralelamente al documental escrito y producido por Scooter Weintraub, que sólo se emitió en la televisión estadounidense en 1995, se publica una entrevista del propio Martin Scorsese en la que Eric Clapton proclama su amor por el blues y sus iconos, así como su banda sonora original Nothing But The Blues. Encontramos al guitarrista británico en el escenario del Fillmore de San Francisco en otoño de 1994, defendiendo su duodécimo álbum de estudio From The Cradle, una obra maestra por primera vez 100% blues, que publicó en septiembre de ese mismo año y que siguió al enorme éxito de su revival de los noventa, Unplugged (1992). Como ocurre a menudo con él, el interés reside en lo siguiente: las versiones en directo difieren mucho de las grabadas en los Olympics Studios de Londres que, a su vez ya habían sido registradas en directo, es decir, sin ningún tipo de edición y sólo con algunos arreglos. También hay algunos temas inéditos: Blues All Day Long de Jimmy Rogers y Malted Milk de Robert Johnson, así como los clásicos Every Day I Have The Blues y Forty-Four.
