Der Dirigent und Erster Geiger des Freiburger Barockorchesters hat sich nun diesem symbolträchtigen Werk für die Violine gewidmet. Auf seiner Geige des Mailänder Lautenisten Paolo Antonio Testore (1690-1767) beherrscht Gottfried von der Goltz dieses Korpus für Violine ohne jeglichen Bluff und Angeberei. Er spielt sie auf eine authentische, nüchterne (beinahe zu zurückhaltende?) und persönliche Art und Weise und mit der ständigen Sorge, ihre reiche Architektur und Polyphonie immer in einem tiefen Verständnis der Komposition zu präsentieren. © Qobuz 2018
