Sí, los abuelitos del rock siguen siendo aún no poco cool y están más que dispuestos a defender con uñas y dientes su credibilidad. Pero la enorme discografía que les precede no ha impedido nunca a los Stones regalar a sus fans algunas grabaciones históricas en vivo. From The Vault - San Jose 1999 es, hasta el momento, el último episodio de su serie de conciertos No Security , gira realizada en 1999 por Estados Unidos y Europa. Acostumbrado a llenar estadios, el grupo prefirió en esa ocasión actuar en salas de tamaño más modesto, de unos 15.000 espectadores, que tampoco es moco de pavo… Hacía casi 25 años que la banda británica no se presentaba en la ciudad californiana de San José, como prueba el entusiasmo de un público enfervorecido hasta el delirio. Y no es para menos, porque los Stones ofrecen una suerte de grandes éxitos (Jumpin’ Jack Flash, Honky Tonk Woman, Paint It Black, It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll (But I Like It), Start Me Up, Brown Sugar, Sympathy for the Devil…) que comienzan por los 60 y llegan a 1997 con Saint Of Me y Out Of Control, del álbum Bridges To Babylon. Presentación del Álbum

Sí, los abuelitos del rock siguen siendo aún no poco cool y están más que dispuestos a defender con uñas y dientes su credibilidad. Pero la enorme discografía que les precede no ha impedido nunca a los Stones regalar a sus fans algunas grabaciones históricas en vivo. From The Vault - San Jose 1999 es, hasta el momento, el último episodio de su serie de conciertos No Security , gira realizada en 1999 por Estados Unidos y Europa. Acostumbrado a llenar estadios, el grupo prefirió en esa ocasión actuar en salas de tamaño más modesto, de unos 15.000 espectadores, que tampoco es moco de pavo… Hacía casi 25 años que la banda británica no se presentaba en la ciudad californiana de San José, como prueba el entusiasmo de un público enfervorecido hasta el delirio. Y no es para menos, porque los Stones ofrecen una suerte de grandes éxitos (Jumpin’ Jack Flash, Honky Tonk Woman, Paint It Black, It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll (But I Like It), Start Me Up, Brown Sugar, Sympathy for the Devil…) que comienzan por los 60 y llegan a 1997 con Saint Of Me y Out Of Control, del álbum Bridges To Babylon.
