Pedro Aznar's third solo album finds him in a synth-pop mode. Unlike his first two albums, most of the selections on Fotos de Tokyo are not instrumentals. Which is fine, because Aznar has a great voice, along with being a talented multi-instrumentalist. Most of the songs are catchy pop tunes. "No Hago Sapo, Pase Y Zape Aunque No Sepa!!," a live recording, features actual audience members "playing" synthesizers along with Aznar. Like his debut album, he performs a faithful rendition of a Beatles song. In this case, it is "Across the Universe."
