Feels Like Home podría ser considerado como "Come Away with Me Again", de no ser por el hecho de que es realmente mejor. Siguiendo sabiamente el formato forjado por Jones y el productor Arif Mardin, contiene el íntimo sencillo "Sunrise", algunas versiones re-elaboradas, algunos temas originales muy interesantes y un supuesto tema de jazz. Todas estas son cosas buenas, ya que también como su predecesor, Feels Like Home es un álbum suave y agradable que enmarca el enfoque dulce de Jones al estilo Aretha Franklin con un grupo de canciones que son tan clásicas como tranquilas. Es cierto que, al igual que el chiflado aunque pegadizo éxito "Don't Know Why", a menudo presagian pensamientos profundos, pero al final resultan ser fantasías sentidas.
