Después de cuatro años de gira por el mundo, Guy y Howard Lawrence, los dos hermanos británicos que usan el alias “Disclosure”, han vuelto al estudio de grabación. Y desde luego fueron productivos, componiendo unos 200 temas… Tras una exhaustiva selección, su tercer álbum, el sucesor de Caracal de 2015, presenta finalmente 11 temas con un reparto de ensueño, dominado por raperos y artistas varios de Malí, y, como siempre, con esa facilidad para reencontrar las atmósferas del pasado. Kelis abre la sesión con un tema que recuerda a los Neptunes del año 2000, Watch Your Step, un perfecto éxito FM, antes de dar paso al dúo de raperos Aminé y slowthai, que desatan el alegre break beat de My High, mientras que el rapero de Chicago Mick Jenkins, una revelación de la última década, marca un ritmo más suave (Who Knew?). Y por último, Common, una “fantasía” para los hermanos Lawrence, colabora para cerrar el álbum en Rêverie, un tema que hace perfectamente honor a su nombre. El punto culminante del álbum, sin embargo, lo trae la cantante maliense Fatoumata Diawara, con quien ya habían colaborado en 2018 en el sencillo Ultimatum, y que está perfecta en Douha (Mali Mali), en modo deep house aéreo, sello característico de Disclosure desde su debut, y que no ha perdido nada de su efectividad. © Smaël Bouaici/Qobuz
