A seis años de distancia de Helplessness Blues, los Fleet Foxes reaparecen en 2017 con Crack-Up, un ambicioso proyecto orquestal producido por el cantante Robin Pecknold y el guitarrista Skyler Skjelset. Primer trabajo del grupo para Nonesuch, Crack-Up acentúa las tendencias experimentales insinuadas en el álbum precedente, sumergiendo al oyente en un mundo de complejas armonías vocales y folk-pop progresivo.
