Born to Die es el esperado álbum debut de la glamorosa Lana Del Rey, probablemente la artista pop más promocionada del año 2012. El estupendo sencillo y video "Video Games", lanzado a mediados de 2011, resaltaba la voz sensual de Del Rey, así como su imagen de lánguida femme fatale. Desgraciadamente el resto de las canciones, todas compuestas por la cantante, simplemente no están a la altura de "Video Games", pese a que prueban diferentes variaciones estilísticas sobre argumentos similares. Del Rey deberá demostrar mayor consistencia en el futuro, si pretende alcanzar el reconocimiento que sus primeros pasos prometían.
