Chloë Hanslip
Langue disponible : anglaisEnglish violinist Chloë Hanslip was a gifted child prodigy and has maintained a successful professional career as a soloist, chamber musician, and recording artist. Hanslip began studying violin at the age of two and immediately demonstrated a remarkable affinity for the instrument, playing in public at four, and for Yehudi Menuhin at five. Her primary teachers were Natasha Boyarskaya and Zakhar Bron. By the time she was 10, she had established an international reputation and appeared in concert throughout Europe and in the United States. She was featured as the "infant prodigy violinist" in Ralph Fiennes' film of Evgeny Onegin. Her first two CDs, made when she was in her early teens, went on to win awards in Germany and England, and her solo recording for Naxos, including John Adams' Violin Concerto and John Corigliano's The Red Violin, made when she was 18, rose to the number two spot on the British Classical Charts.
