The members of Everyday Sunday considered splitting up after endless touring in support of their first two albums. Ultimately deciding to stick together, the Ohio punk/pop quartet gutted out their third record in hopes of renewing their collective energies and refining their knack for cleverly crafted pop songs. The result was one of 2007's most appealing Christian rock albums. The title track was the first single, a peppy Green Day-esque call to action to stop going through the motions. Album opener "Let's Go Back" settled any questions of whether the band could continue to pound out tight, radio-friendly songs. The album never lacks for a hook, and producer Ian Eskelin (All-Star United, Krystal Meyers) added a radio-friendly sheen. The breakup song "I'll Get Over It (Miss Elaineous)" borders on trite but fits the album's lighthearted fare. Overall, there was no doubt that this third go-around upped the ante both lyrically and musically, thrusting the band into the same company as supergroups like Relient K and Fountains of Wayne.
