Kathleen Ferrier fut l'une des plus grandes chanteuses anglaises du vingtième siècle, et ses interprétations de la Passion Selon Saint-Matthieu sont entrées dans la légende. En 1947-48 elle enregistre l'oeuvre sous la baguette de Reginal Jacques, et en 1949 la Cantate BWV67. La Passion est tirée d'un transfert LP Decca de 1960, restauré de manière exemplaire par Mark Obert-Thorn.

Chronique

Kathleen Ferrier fut l'une des plus grandes chanteuses anglaises du vingtième siècle, et ses interprétations de la Passion Selon Saint-Matthieu sont entrées dans la légende. En 1947-48 elle enregistre l'oeuvre sous la baguette de Reginal Jacques, et en 1949 la Cantate BWV67. La Passion est tirée d'un transfert LP Decca de 1960, restauré de manière exemplaire par Mark Obert-Thorn.
