Moderne mais pas trop. On serait presque tenté de déballer le tellement rabâché « intemporel » à l'évocation de Barbara Carlotti. Il y a d'abord cette voix. Grave. Comme une tonalité qui convoque le fantôme de Nico. Il y a aussi cette diction parfaite où chaque mot est soupesé, choisi, assumé, revendiqué même, pour son fond comme pour sa forme. Barbara (tout court) n'est pas loin elle non plus. Après Les Lys brisés et L'Idéal, la Carlotti épure son écriture pour ce troisième album, L'Amour, l'argent, le vent. La brume de nostalgie un brin sixties est toujours de mise mais les chansons offrent un réel charisme. Un style, un vrai. © MZ/Qobuz
