L'ambiance malsaine du quatrième album de Slipknot n’est pas vraiment surprenante, ni fâcheuse car elle ne marque pas une régression. Cet opus vient plutôt renforcer la puissance du groupe. Sur la plupart des titres de All Hope Is Gone, Slipknot n’a pas l'air d'être prêt à relâcher la pression. Les musiciens se lancent dans un assaut de riffs tortueux et dark. Cette attaque est si efficace que quand le rythme se radoucit, l’album menace de retomber comme un soufflet. Mais il semblerait que ces titres plus radiophoniques manifestent une étrange tendance à vouloir vulgariser le son du groupe.

Chronique
L'ambiance malsaine du quatrième album de Slipknot n’est pas vraiment surprenante, ni fâcheuse car elle ne marque pas une régression. Cet opus vient plutôt renforcer la puissance du groupe. Sur la plupart des titres de All Hope Is Gone, Slipknot n’a pas l'air d'être prêt à relâcher la pression. Les musiciens se lancent dans un assaut de riffs tortueux et dark. Cette attaque est si efficace que quand le rythme se radoucit, l’album menace de retomber comme un soufflet. Mais il semblerait que ces titres plus radiophoniques manifestent une étrange tendance à vouloir vulgariser le son du groupe.
