Matheus & Kauan

Matheus & Kauan are a Brazilian sertanejo duo consisting of brothers Matheus Aleixo Pinto Rosa and Osvaldo Pinto Rosa Filho. Apart from their successful recording career, they have also penned songs for some of the biggest names in the sertanejo scene, including Jorge & Mateus, Luan Santana, Michel Teló, Cristiano Araújo, and Gusttavo Lima. Hailing from the city of Itapuranga in the state of Goiás, Kauan began singing with his father at church and later released two albums as a solo artist before joining forces with his brother Matheus in 2010. Paraquedas, their studio debut, appeared in 2012 and was followed by well-received releases like Mundo Paralelo (2013) and Face a Face (2015). Released in early 2016, their fourth full-length Na Praia catapulted them to stardom and received platinum certification after selling 0ver 250,000 copies. Driven by the Top 10 singles "Te Assumi Pro Brasil" and "Nessas Horas," sequel Na Praia 2 (2017) finished cementing their reputation as true hitmakers. Matheus & Kauan continued their winning streak on Intensamente Hoje (2018) and Tem Moda Pra Tudo (2019), a diamond-selling live album that featured guest spots by Jorge & Mateus, Marília Mendonça, and Gustavo Lima. In 2020, Matheus & Kauan celebrated their tenth anniversary with the full-length 10 Anos na Praia, which featured the massive streaming hit "Litrão." This success was followed by the EP Expectativa X Realidade (2021) and the live LP Se Melhorar Estraga (2022), whose lead single "Gatilho" peaked at Number 22 on Billboard Brazil's chart.
