Hannah Jane Lewis

U.K. singer and songwriter Hannah Jane Lewis had her streaming breakthrough with the bright electro-pop song "Raincheck" in 2017. Mixing sleek pop and atmospheric EDM on her early singles, she favored bubbly, relationship-inspired pop on her debut EP, 2019's Hannah Jane Lewis. A native of England, Lewis immersed herself in American pop music while living in Florida during her high school years. She then studied music at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts before returning to the U.K. to launch her pop career. Her debut single, "Why Start a War," arrived in April of 2016, but it was her third single, 2017's "Raincheck," that went viral. Lewis followed it with singles including 2018's "Aftershock" before she was featured on the Hight song "I'm with You" in mid-2018; a remix by DAZZ garnered millions of streams within a few months of its release that December. Her debut EP, Hannah Jane Lewis, followed on her own HJL Records in April 2019.
