Yukika

Yukika Teramoto, born on February 16, 1993, in Shizuoka, Japan, is a Japanese singer and actress primarily based in South Korea. Beginning her career as a model and voice actress, Yukika transitioned into various commercials and stage plays. In 2016, she auditioned for and became the sole Japanese cast member selected for The Idolmaster KR, a South Korean drama adapted from the original game series. Alongside her role in the show, she was part of Real Girls Project, a Korean idol group formed for the drama. Following the group's disbandment, Yukika debuted her first Korean solo single, "Neon," on February 22, 2019, followed by "Cherries Jubiles" in July 9. In 2020, Yukika prepared for her debut solo album, Soul Lady, releasing "Yesterday" as a pre-release track on July 8, 2020. The album, released on July 21, peaked at number 8 on Korean charts and earned her a nomination for best pop album at the Korean Music Awards. In February 2021, Ubuntu Entertainment announced Yukika's return with her first extended play, Timeabout, released on April 7. The EP, featuring the lead single "Insomnia," reached number 35 on Korean charts. Throughout 2021 and 2022, Yukika continued her musical journey, releasing singles like "Loving You," "Tokyo Lights," and "Scent." On December 11, 2022, she released "Space Science," her final single under her agency, unveiling Time-Lapse, on December 1, 2023; a collection of remakes of classic city pop songs, which reached number 71 on the Korean charts.
