La situation est bien résumée : pour cet album, les Mumford & Sons ont délaissé l’instrument qui était devenu leur marque de fabrique à travers les 2 précédents opus. Sur son 3e disque, le groupe a laissé tomber ses salopettes et offre une musique aux allures de Coldplay et de The National…les nouveaux producteurs James Ford et Aaron Dessner y étant probablement pour quelque chose.
