L'enregistrement n'est certes pas tout jeune (1955), mais il représente un sommet du style mozartien viennois. A la tête de l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Vienne, Erich Kleiber dirige souverainement avec une constante préoccupation théâtrale, grâce à des tempi très vifs et une tension permanente. Lisa della Casa est une Comtesse noble et touchante, Suzanne Danco (venue par hasard dans cet enregistrement) campe un espiègle et coquin Cherubino, Hilde Guedden est la Susanna rouée que l'on attend et Alfred Poell un Comte avec une belle présence... mais un italien assez rudimentaire. Ce que l'on entend avant tout, c'est le style inimitable de musiciens pour lesquels Mozart était l’indispensable pain quotidien. Miraculeux ! FH

Chronique

L'enregistrement n'est certes pas tout jeune (1955), mais il représente un sommet du style mozartien viennois. A la tête de l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Vienne, Erich Kleiber dirige souverainement avec une constante préoccupation théâtrale, grâce à des tempi très vifs et une tension permanente. Lisa della Casa est une Comtesse noble et touchante, Suzanne Danco (venue par hasard dans cet enregistrement) campe un espiègle et coquin Cherubino, Hilde Guedden est la Susanna rouée que l'on attend et Alfred Poell un Comte avec une belle présence... mais un italien assez rudimentaire. Ce que l'on entend avant tout, c'est le style inimitable de musiciens pour lesquels Mozart était l’indispensable pain quotidien. Miraculeux ! FH
