Oui, les papys du rock’n’roll sont toujours cool et bien décidés à garder leur notoriété. Un nombre considérable d’albums au compteur n’empêche pas les Stones de régaler leurs fans avec certains live historiques. From the Vault - San Jose 1999 est le dernier épisode de leur série de concerts de la tournée No Security effectuée en 1999 à travers les Etats-Unis et l’Europe. Habitué à remplir les stades, le groupe visait sur cette tournée des salles à taille humaine : 15 000 personnes tout de même… Cela faisait près de vingt-cinq ans que les Anglais n’avaient pas fait escale dans la ville de San José et la foule bouillonnait d’excitation ! Les Stones proposent ici une large sélection de leurs tubes (Jumpin’ Jack Flash, Honky Tonk Woman, Paint It Black, It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll (But I Like It), Start Me Up, Brown Sugar, Sympathy for the Devil…), allant des années 60 jusqu’en 1997 avec Saint of Me ou Out of Control de l’album Bridges to Babylon. Oui, les papys du rock’n’roll sont toujours cool et bien décidés à garder leur notoriété. Un nombre considérable d’albums au compteur n’empêche pas les Stones de régaler leurs fans avec certains live historiques. From the Vault - San Jose 1999 est le dernier épisode de leur série de concerts de la tournée No Security effectuée en 1999 à travers les Etats-Unis et l’Europe. Habitué à remplir les stades, le groupe visait sur cette tournée des salles à taille humaine : 15 000 personnes tout de même… Cela faisait près de vingt-cinq ans que les Anglais n’avaient pas fait escale dans la ville de San José et la foule bouillonnait d’excitation ! Les Stones proposent ici une large sélection de leurs tubes (Jumpin’ Jack Flash, Honky Tonk Woman, Paint It Black, It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll (But I Like It), Start Me Up, Brown Sugar, Sympathy for the Devil…), allant des années 60 jusqu’en 1997 avec Saint of Me ou Out of Control de l’album Bridges to Babylon.
