Eric Papilaya
Born June 9, 1978, in Laakirchen, Austria, Eric Papilaya represented his native country in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest, where he performed the song "Get a Life -- Get Alive." Papilaya failed to qualify for the finals, but he was signed to Universal Records, which released "Get a Life -- Get Alive" as a single. The song was a Top Ten hit in Austria, charting at number nine. Papilaya had previously performed on the show Starmania, where he was a finalist.
