Major Pain 2 Indee Freedom: The Best of Hed P.E. does a good job summarizing (hed) p.e.'s recordings for Suburban Noize, and focuses primarily on material from Back 2 Base X, Insomnia, and New World Orphans. Even though these three albums came out long after the heyday of rap-metal and face paint, they fortunately happen to contain some of the group’s better singles. On top of the dozen tracks selected from each of their 2006, 2007, and 2009 LPs, (hed) p.e. handpicked five songs from their first four outings themselves and recorded a new track titled "No Rest 4 da Wicked" especially for this collection. [The limited edition also contains a bonus DVD of a live performance shot in Los Angeles.]
