This two-fer from Ian Broudie's Lightning Seeds includes 1994's Jollification and 1997's Dizzy Heights, both of which were strong but failed to scale the international charts like Cloudcuckooland and "Pure." Broudie's signature shimmering production and impossibly happy melodies are intact, and there are singles galore like "Lucky You," "Marvelous," "Perfect," "You Get Your Life," "Waiting for Today to Happen," and "You Showed Me." Some listeners will remember Jollification's "Change" from the film Clueless.
