Yet another set of effortlessly cool, dance-friendly anthems, 2023's Golden Age marks the fourth full-crew album from the NCT collective. Reuniting the group's various sub-unit members for the first time since 2021's Universe, the ten-track LP features the smooth, beat-popping lead single "Baggy Jeans" and the aggressive electro-attack "Golden Age." Additional highlight "The BAT" features some of the speediest beats (and head-spinning rapping) here. Trimmed of any fat and leaving little room to rest (the sweet ballad "Not Your Fault" is the only respite), Golden Age keeps the energy high.
