For Sentimental Reasons: The Love Songs collects 18 of the most amorous tunes (weren't they all pretty amorous?) from legendary Brill Building/blue-eyed soul duo the Righteous Brothers. All of the wedding classics are present, including "Unchained Melody" and "(You're My) Soul and Inspiration," but there's too much missing here ("Little Latin Lupe Lu," "Rock and Roll Heaven," and most importantly, "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'") to recommend it as a definitive collection. Listeners looking for a more well-rounded overview of the duo should pick up Rhino's Anthology 1962-1974 or Abko's Retrospective 1963-1974.
