Released in 1991, Osez Josephine is the eight studio album by the great French singer/songwriter Alain Bashung. It is chock-full of acoustic rootsy blues, country, and swampy tracks delivered in an immediate, raw manner, without much overdubbing; so little, in fact, it sounds like it was recorded live from the floor in the studio. Standout cuts include the title track, "Volutes," and a very original interpretation of the Moody Blues' "Nights in White Satin."
