SANTA
Real name Samanta Cotta, Santa was raised in Nice by her American-born mother, Diana Eckert, singer with the band Daisy Duck in the 1980s. Santa began to make a name for herself in 2015 as lead singer of the electropop group Hyphen Hyphen, with whom she recorded several EPs and albums, the latest of which, C'est La Vie, was released in 2023. That same year, Santa made her solo debut with the EP 999, on which she played virtually every instrument and which featured, among other things, the love song "Popcorn salé" , which reached number nine on the French charts. In 2024, she released her first studio album, Recommence-moi, preceded by an eponymous single. It also includes a duet with Christophe Willem, "Les Larmes ne coulent pas".
