For M 6, Maurizio again returns to the deep, bass-driven style of minimal techno that makes up the later half of the M series. Again, thumping sub-frequency basslines capable of shaking walls pound for the duration of these epic songs, while subtle riffs and sparse high-hat percussion offset the monotone bassline. The riffs on M 6 still phase and modulate somewhat sporadically, as they have on previous M records. In fact, they sound almost aquatic on M 6, giving the two versions of the record a nautical feel.
