Presented here are all the finest tunes by Corpus Christi's beloved Selena, the late queen of Tejano music. Through a graceful weaving of traditional and contemporary pop sensibilities, she made herself into a true diva. One need only listen to the transitions between tracks to understand. To a bittersweet melody and the sound of bouncing synthesizers, the chart-topping "Amor Prohibido" tells of a love forbidden by societal convention. "Tu Solo Tu" follows, an acoustic cantina gem backed by mariachis.
