Acclaimed drummer Hal Blaine died on March 11, 2019, at the age of 90. As a member of Phil Spector's house band and the legendary Wrecking Crew, Blaine recorded thousands of sessions, notably with so many of the artists that shaped rock and roll — The Crystals, The Beach Boys, Simon & Garfunkel, Elvis Presley, Sam Cooke and The Supremes.
