Rone

Figurehead of InFine music label, French electro artist Rone has become, in the space of two albums, one of the references of hexagonal electro. With every sound and rhythm created and implemented down to the finest detail, the Parisian manages to introduce the listener to a unique universe, governed by very specific code. Dynamic, scalable, modern: Rone does not fail to to take over the ears.

Upon the release of his first EP, Bora, already with InFine label, it received widespread support from renowned artists such as Agoria, Massive Attack. Bugge Wesseltoft, High Priest (Antipop Consortium) and even Jean-Michel Jarre...

The particular class of production demonstration by Rone, (real name Erwan Castex) won the producer rave reviews for his first album Spanish Breakfast. Not only in France - the unique stylings of the Parisian caught the ear of the English media.

A Berlin exile, Rone will offer the opportunity to refresh the current trends and come back with new, original material. In 2012 he released his second album: Tohu Bohu, an undeniable touchdown for the young artist.

The Apache EP, released in 2014, saw the man demonstrate free rein with his wild imagination once again, by changing his style without distorting it. © Nicolas Gal / Qobuz
