Available languages: EnglishOto Hiax is a collaboration between British electronic musicians Mark Clifford (Seefeel, Disjecta) and Scott Douglas Gordon (Loops Haunt). Their work together combines electronic and electro-acoustic methods, resulting in visceral sonic explorations that occasionally lapse into abrasive rhythms. The duo's music can be tense and unsettling, but there's also an element of playfulness to it, preventing it from seeming too harsh. The project has released two full-lengths through Editions Mego, beginning with a self-titled 2017 effort. Clifford and Gordon first began collaborating in 2011. Their first EP, One, was digitally self-released in 2015. This was followed by their self-titled debut LP, issued by Editions Mego in early 2017. Two appeared on the same label in 2019. ~ Paul Simpson
