New Sector Movements
New Sector Movements is a quasi-group that has included several members of West London's broken beat community in its membership, including Kaidi Tatham (Agent K), Julie Dexter, Bembe Segue, Eska World, Eric Appapoulay (Murky Waters), string duo Chix With Stix (Izzy Dunn and Stella Page), and former Buckshot LeFonque member Frank McComb. Helmed by producer, keyboardist, and percussionist I.G. Culture, the project released a handful of 12" singles for the People label prior to completing their first full-length. Released in 2001 on Virgin, Download This encompassed a spectrum of inspirations, including jazz-funk, '70s soul, drum'n'bass, and contemporary R&B.
