Stephan Eicher is a famous Swiss pop singer. Famous in Europe, and, more specifically, in France. On this album he sings in three different languages (English, French and German) and offers his first hit ever: "Two People in a Room." The single was a big hit in France in the mid '80s and must have showed him that France was where his music would be most appreciated. Thus, his follow-up albums were all mostly in French. The material here is very basic and in most cases unremarkable. The only tracks to actually stand out are "I Tell This Night," "Two People in a Room" (obviously) and "Where Did Our Love Go?" The rest is dismissible. Eicher later proved that he could do much better. Also, it should be noted that the album is very short -- with only eight tracks spanning a little over 35 minutes.
