Junia

Jacqueline Zebisch (June 18, 1984) is a German singer who performs under the stage name Ella Endlich. The daughter of songwriter and producer Norbert Endlich, she was born in Weimar but relocated with her family to West Berlin in 1989. A precocious talent, she was hired as a background vocalist for the ZDF-Hitparade channel when she was just 10 years old. By the time she turned 14, she had already signed a contract with Columbia Records and made her official debut as Junia with the 1999 single “It’s Funny.” The track was included in her 2000 eponymous studio debut, which also featured the singles “My Guy,” “Who’s the Other Woman?,” and “Skaterboy.” After majoring in musical theater at the Bayrischen Theaterakademie, she went on to star in numerous musicals such as Heidi, Sweet Charity, Grease, and Les Misérables. In 2009, she resumed her music career under the name Ella Endlich and issued the single “Küss mich, halt mich, lieb mich,” reaching Number 12 on the German charts. She followed this success with titles like Da (2010), Meilenweit (2011), and Die süße Wahrheit (2014), all of which enjoyed great popularity in the German-speaking world. In 2016, Ella Endlich participated in the national final to represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest with the track “Adrenalin.” Subsequently, she became a judge on the fifteenth season of the reality show Deutschland sucht den Superstar and released the albums Im Vertrauen (2018) and Endlich Weihnachten (2021), a collection of Christmas songs recorded with her father.
