Goodnight, Texas

Goodnight, Texas, an Americana folk rock band formed in 2010, is the creative convergence of songwriters Avi Vinocur from San Francisco, California, and Patrick Dyer Wolf from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Named after the town that lies at the geographic midpoint between their respective homes, the band also features members Scott Padden, Adam Nash, and Chris Sugiura. They debuted with A Long Life of Living in 2012, followed by significant releases such as Uncle John Farquhar in 2014, Conductor in 2018, and How Long Will It Take Them To Die in 2022. Their track "The Railroad" (2012) notably gained attention by featuring in the hit show Tiger King and Coors Banquet's Carry The West ad campaign.
