Father John Misty
Né à New York en 1981, l'auteur-compositeur-interprète américain Joshua Tillman entame sa carrière sous l'alias de J. Tillman en 2003, livrant quelques perles de folk contemporain comme Minor Works (2006) et évoluant occasionnellement en groupe (Saxon Shore, Fleet Foxes) avant d'adopter son second alias, Father John Misty, à l'occasion d'une réorientation musicale embrassant des horizons plus larges et plongeant ses racines dans la longue et riche tradition du songwriting anglo-saxon. Intégrant éléments psychédéliques, classic rock et piano rock, Father John Misty livre un premier opus en 2012, Fear Fun, suivi en 2015 par le remarqué I Love You, Honey Bear puis Pure Comedy en 2017.© TiVo Lire plus
