Green Death
A Lovecraftian thrash, death, and horror-metal unit based out of Des Moines, Iowa, Green Death was founded in 2012 by Mark Reinking (guitar), Sol Bales (vocals), Ryan Berrier (drums), and Parker Willis (bass). Rising from the ashes of earlier incarnations of the group, W.A.D. and ONLY, the band recorded a pair of well-received EPs, Dawn of Death and Death Monks, before unleashing their debut full-length, The Deathening, in 2013. Features in Decibel Magazine and countless shows followed, with the band sharing the stage with like-minded mayhem peddlers Trivium, Suicidal Tendencies, Napalm Death, Black Dahlia Murder, and Five Finger Death Punch, just to name a few. Their sophomore long-player, Manufacturing Evil, dropped in 2015, and in 2017 the band inked a deal with Megadeth bassist David Ellefson's EMP label and released their highly anticipated third studio album, Pure Torture.
