Anson Seabra

An emotive singer/songwriter, Anson Seabra makes artfully crafted and philosophical, piano-driven pop. He emerged online in 2018 and garnered a strong social media fan base with songs like "Broken" and "Emerald Eyes." In 2020, he released his full-length debut, Songs I Wrote in My Bedroom, followed by 2021's Feeling for My Life EP and the 2022 ballad "One Day Less." A Kansas City, Missouri native, Seabra started taking piano lessons at age six and played in school bands growing up. After high school, however, he pursued a computer science degree in college while continuing to write and record his own songs. Following graduation, he accepted a job as a software engineer on the East Coast, but he never let go of his dream of making music full-time. In 2018, he left his job and began posting songs online. He developed a following, amassing over 190,000 YouTube subscribers and almost as many on other streaming services, where his songs like "Last Time," "Broken," and "Robin Hood" went viral. In 2020 he released his debut full-length effort, Songs I Wrote in My Bedroom, which included the hit single "Trying My Best." Several EPs arrived in 2021, including Feeling for My Life, A Heartfelt Holiday, and Dominoes. The yearning ballad "One Day Less" appeared in July 2022.
