Vocalist. Greetie Bijma is a vocal improviser, much in the manner of Jeanne Lee or Urzula Dudziak. She doesn't perform ballads, show tunes, standards or blues, instead wrapping her shouts and thrusts around free improvisations and interacting with musicians doing original, involved compositions.
