Night Flight

A dramatic and richly textured indie rock quartet from London, Night Flight emerged in 2017, drawing comparisons to bands like the War on Drugs, Elbow, and Fleet Foxes. Tying together their two EPs, the band's acclaimed self-titled debut album appeared at the end of 2018. Night Flight initially developed out of the recordings of singer, songwriter, and guitarist Samuel Holmes with Harry Phillips (guitar, vocals), Oliver Halvorson (bass), and Dan Webb (drums) joining him as the arrangements began to expand. Released by U.K. indie CRC Music, the band's 2017 EP, Wanderlust, was met with critical accolades praising their cinematic sound and tightly crafted studio approach. Their follow-up EP, Carousel, built on its predecessor's success in the first part of 2018 and was later combined with Wanderlust and two new tracks to form Night Flight's eponymous full-length debut in December of that year.
